Visual Studio.NET 2005, 2008, 2010 VB.NET and C# with .NET Framework 1.1, 2.0 and 3.5, 4.0. ASP.NET, WinForms, SQL Server 2005/2008, WCF, Class Libraries, SSRS, DTS/SSIS, Crystal Reports, IIS 5.1/6.0/7.0, AJAX, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VBScript, MS Access, VB for Applications (VBA), COBOL II, CICS, VSAM, JCL.

Using ASP.net 4.0 and VB.net (C#/C++) with MS Visual Studio 2010 (along with 'Dreamweaver', Flash, Codesmith, Fiddler, OMNIdecs, XML, AJAX 1.0, ASPXLabs, Web Services) - I architect and implement savvy web applications. I recently redesigned the company 'Dive Center Locator' by integrating Google maps and creating an 'ascx' user control with AJAX for use in multiple PADI systems. I use XML, SOAP, WCF, SQL Server 2010, and ADO.NET as some of my tools for acquiring data.

Master Web Crafters - Consultant 05/2005 - 07/2006 (own company)
Milford Astor of Rosebery, Australia (contract 10 hours week)
ASP.net 2.0, SQL Server 2005, VB.net, AJAX 1.0 - I have been developing and implementing systems related to, the manufacture and sales of thermal ribbon foils used in specialized printing. I have been using ASP.net, VB.net, and SQL Server 2005 as the primary tools for a system involving more than 20 screens and 8 tables. The migration to the new system involved converting an older VB 6.0 to an ASP.net 2.0/VB.net system. Milford Astor has recognized savings in excess of $500K so far since my system implementation in July, 2006. Cost savings and waste management have been the primary reasons.

BAX Global Irvine, CA - Technical Consultant 10/2002 - 04/2005
ASP.net 1.1, VB.net and VB 6.0 development - I spent 2.5 years coordinating the development of 4 systems at BAX: The BIRM system (BAX Inter-company Receivables Management system) reconciles A/R accounts from international agents and affiliates with the corporate G/L system (VB.net front-end, DLL middle ware, and Oracle back-end). I also managed the VB 6.0 'Pre-audit' system, which queues questionable invoices for manual research. Released invoices are sent back to the mainframe (IBM 3090) for downstream processing. The 'Credit and Collections' system was also under my supervision and involved the tracking of payment collections by various finance personnel (VB front-end, Oracle back-end). The final system for which I was responsible was the 'Linehaul' system, which involves the invoicing of contracted trucking
companies. This system uses a VB front-end, DLL middle-ware, and a SQL Server 7.0 back-end.

DiamondCluster Intl Chicago, IL - Technical Consultant 10/2000 - 10/2002
At DiamondCluster, I worked on two significant projects. At Eagle Global Logistic, I headed up the technical team for an IT assessment and strategy. I was part of a 3-person team, which utilized the company's 'DEADONS' approach (Data, Execution, Application, Development, Operations, Security) to assess the weaknesses of the IT department. We spent 6 weeks investigating every aspect of IT from its global network to help desk procedures. The IT strategy focused on providing the roadmap - the quickest ROI based on the prioritized business initiatives formulated by the company steering committee. The TWEC (Trans World Entertainment Company) project involved writing Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures to help load the catalog web database which in turn supports the www.fye.com e-commerce site. The site launched at the end of November 2001. I also worked on invoice and report programming interfaces. I also guided team members in advanced use of Macromedia tools (Dreamweaver UltraDev and Flash 4).

BAX Global Irvine, CA - Programmer/Analyst 10/1991 - 9/2000
Web Pioneer - I spent 3 years coordinating the web development at BAX. This included VB 6.0, CGI, Win-CGI, HTML, classic ASP, JavaScript, and interfaces to ASP (3-tiered client/server and thin-client development). I used SQL Server 7.0 stored procedure interfaces to VB 6.0 ActiveX DLL business objects. These objects in turn lent themselves to both desktop and web applications.

Harley Davidson – Using VB 3.0
I designed, developed, and implemented the inventory logistics system for their Milwaukee warehouse. The system uses Microhelp Comm. control as an interface to the Symbol Tech. PDT 3100 handheld scanning device. The system is comprised of 10 forms and 3 Crystal Reports. I utilized 'API' calls from VB to the IBM 3090 mainframe to update the shipment status on that platform.

Electronic Data Systems Anaheim, CA and Detroit, MI - Systems Engineer 10/1985 - 10/1990
